Just FYI, the moon is artificial object that was placed by extra terrestrials - unlike natural moons it does not rotate on it's axis and always shows the same face to earth. How deep down the rabbit hole would you like to go?

Likewise with birds. They're actually man-made surveillance devices. The rabbit hole goes very deep indeed!
Once at night when the moon was very large in the sky I saw with my own eyes a meteor strike that created a large yellow cloud and plume and then settled back down. First and only time, so if one can see them with the naked eye, having a telescope see one cant be that rare a thing.
