Very organic.
I wonder if Samsung's newest lucrative partnership with OpenAI has anything to do with this?
Ram is pretty integral in many infrastructures, it could be argued one company should not control the majority of supply.
Imagine if a big pharma company that was the sole maker of a cancer drug entered into a lucrative contract with a private business actively hoarding the global supply of that cancer drug and then that big pharma company shrugs their shoulders at the world and says theres no more supply ...oh and the price for that cancer is doubled.
They'd prob be in jail but I guess Sam Altman and Samsung are special!!
