The beginning of the end of the personal desktop and possibly laptop market.  Interesting, didn't see it coming from pricing going up.

If you want to preview what RAM and memory price hikes look like just go to an Apple store and play around with the spec configurator.

I dreamt of some time building a workstation with several GPUs and an appropriate amount of RAM. However, if manufacturers want to price us out, I will pray my current computer runs forever...

sounds like a nothingburger, those don't make much sense anymore, might as well put a nvme one in a sata enclosure if you want to slow it down.
