The only way Samsung will be able to combat the robo-purchases is to force all phones to require in store purchase and/or pickup or they force network activation within a short time frame after purchase. Otherwise, expect 95% of the phones made available in the US market to be on eBay for 200% markup by the end of the first day of release.
