Title: Zotac rejects RMA of working RTX 5070 Ti for unrelated issue and suggests trashing the GPU
Post by: Redaktion on December 05, 2025, 23:49:41
Zotac may be inventing excuses to deny warranty coverage of an RTX 5070i graphics card. A gamer filed an RMA due to a noisy fan, but the company claims the GPU is beyond repair. Referencing PCB scratches that appear minor, Zotac proposes binning the pricey RTX 50 series card.

My experience with a Zotac mini-pc 15 years ago wasn't stellar either.

Never again.

By the looks of things the person may have damaged the gpu pci connectors when he removed it.

That said, he can still demand that they fix the fan and send it back assuming he thinks it is still in working condition.
