Memory prices are spiralling out of control. At present, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM costs over US$180, double the price seen in summer. The Raspberry Pi 5 has now also been impacted by this trend, with all variants of the single-board computer becoming more expensive. The new base model now ships with just 1 GB of memory.
