Post by: Redaktion on November 23, 2025, 14:05:59
Former safety chief claims Figure AI's humanoid robots can fracture skulls and alleges he was fired for raising concerns. The robotics startup, now valued at $39 billion with backing from Nvidia and Jeff Bezos, denies wrongdoing and cites poor performance as the reason for termination.

I'm not sure we needed a whistleblower for the patently obvious progression and evolution of robots.

(Me with human weakness clicks the "I am not a robot" checkbox diligently as I post this.)

The culture is just rife with silicone valley types. Not saying specifically on this case but money these days is made by damaging first and patching it later. Penalties are too small a just a cost of business. If you want this to stop the liabilities need to be an existential threat including jail time for the executives.

But of course the news would rather report on some hobo Florida man stealing some bread.
