So LLM's producing hallucinating data for users that must rerun queries on hot nodes produce waste data, waste heat, and ultimately heat this dude's home for nickles. Ignoring the tens of thousands of Nvidia hardware/compute cluster/manpower/support overhead etc. All so some corporate infrastructure can make a dime? ok? Why?
I guess this is a way for big tech to justify the massive power for 6-fingered representation of progress?
Oh humans. We think we're so intelligent, but if we were to pause a moment we would see we're just immensely clever. Humbling, yes. But there is no such thing as of yet called "Intelligence" in the human race, if this is where we're at while the world burns at our own five-fingered hand.

QuoteTerrence and Lesley Bridges have seen their energy bills drop dramatically, from £375 a month down to as low as £40, since they swapped their gas boiler for a HeatHub – a small data centre containing more than 500 computers.
Lol. Ok. So let's assume 500x600€, that's a solid €300K. All of that in a backyard of a 76 y.o., right...
Edit: They forgot to mention how solar panels are very beneficiary for those savings.
