Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, released in April 2025 by indie studio Sandfall Interactive, has become the most‑nominated title in The Game Awards history with twelve nominations, including the coveted Game of the Yea,r in addition to Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Score, and three acting nods for Ben Starr, Charlie Cox, and Jennifer English.

Baldur's Gate 3 was a much better game though.
