Some people learn the hard way—say, reporting from a trade show—that even in 2025, transferring files between an Android phone and a Mac still doesn't work ad hoc. After trying several tools, I finally found one that solved my problems.

why would a free open source tool have a paid advertising campaign?

All paid articles are of course marked as such. This is not an advertorial but an article how our editor solved his problem with a free open source tool.
