The Sony A7 V is expected to be officially announced in just a few days. Latest rumors reveal details about one of the camera's most significant upgrades, namely the brand-new 33MP full-frame sensor that is supposed to be much faster thanks to a partially stacked architecture.

I am fully disappointed, therefore as > 10years Sony user I hope that Nikon will soon come up with the Nikon Z 7 III that will meet my expectations.
I'd a pity that Sony didn't come up with a 44 Mpx for this camera.

Megapixels are not the biggest factor in image quality. Complaining about lack of megapixels is silly. There are phones with 100 megapixel sensors that still don't hold a candle to traditional digital cameras.

Would like to see pixel count over 50MP.
