In an interview with The Escapist, Jay Klaitz, the voice of GTA V's Lester Crest defended reports that Grand Theft Auto VI will carry a $100 price tag, arguing Rockstar's years-long development, intensive motion-capture work and ongoing post-launch updates effectively deliver "multiple games" in one purchase.

Just give me whatever offline single player version of GTAVI, and then I may decide to get whatever DLCs that come out. I don't give a flying crap about multiplayer. My gaming sessions are my escapism sessions, I don't want anyone else involved in them.

What I'm curious about is the price you decided to pay to be able to own a perfect version.

Honestly I'll gladly pay 100 bucks for this game...Rockstar is the only company that actually releases games that are complete have great graphics and usually always a great storyline with minimal bugs.. most game companies now release 3/4 of a game for 80 bucks and sell the rest of it for 34.99 and most of the games are full of bugs and almost unplayable

The only RS game I lived was Vice City.

The rest were good fun, but there were many elements that most gaming companies have reproduced and so $100 seems a bit arrogant. I am a patient gamer, and can wait until the cost is reasonable.
