Title: Halo developers have mixed reactions to the Trump administration’s ICE post comparing immigrants to the Flood
Post by: Redaktion on October 30, 2025, 05:56:21
The Trump administration's social post repurposing Halo imagery, which used an AI-generated image of President Donald Trump in Master Chief armor and a DHS/ICE recruitment graphic urging "Destroy The Flood," has elicited different responses from the community and creators of the Halo franchise.

I'm not saying that this comparison is good, but there has to be some improvement in immigrants control. I can't land a good offer because companies prefer to use H1B to invite an immigrant from India for smaller salary than hiring an american. In my previous company 62% of employees were from India - and it is a big american(if you can still call it that way) corporation..

But what about the immigrants doing jobs that no American would do anyway?

What about when Amazon axes 600k American jobs, and they don't replace them with any Indian, foreigner or even human - but AI and automation?

How do we fight against that? Who do we blame then or who is responsible / at fault then?

I'm not saying that this was your job. I'm saying the same people responsible for what happened to you are also responsible for the above. So let's fight against what's screwing most of humanity here (including exploiting immigrants).
