A new study by Cambridge researchers indicates that humans have a higher-than-expected sensitivity to display pixel density. This means that even in the case of desktop monitors, most indivduals will be able to discern more detail on an 8K panel.

I'm so tired of arguing with my colleagues that there's a difference - you can see it with the naked eye. And we've been waiting for this for a decade!
