Title: Xbox Full-screen Experience for Gaming Handhelds - Asus ROG Xbox Ally X Review
Post by: Redaktion on October 16, 2025, 01:38:41
The new ROG Xbox Ally X is the result of a close cooperation between Asus and Microsoft. The new Xbox full-screen experience is supposed to improve the usability of Windows on a handheld. We review the high-end model with the Ryzen Z2 Extreme and the Radeon 890M.

Thank you for the review! It would be great if you could test this gadget with SteamOS installed and compare it to other handheld gaming PCs (like the Steam Deck OLED). That would be much clearer in terms of battery life and performance.

Ryzen AI 350 is not Hawk-point(Phoenix refresh), It's Kraken point, which is Zen5 + RDNA3.5.

lol, this out of stock everywhere in UK.

Even on Asus UK's own website it shows pre-order with an estimated delivery time of mid December.

Can't even blame any one specific vendor or OEM for this when they're all suffering the same fate.

Touche. AMD strikes again. Well played AMD well played. :P
