If this wasn't a puff piece paid for by HP, then the true revolutionaries in this place are Framework.
I dont know if I agree with replacing a usb A with usb C (not TB) is truly modernizing the port selection.
I feel the sweet spot is 2 legacy USB A, 2 TB 4/5, HDMI, and a headphone jack.
And for the creative laptops, include a full side sd card slot.
For what do people need 2 USB-A ports? Assuming all USB-C ports are not broken. In which case one can't charge the laptop so it doesn't matter if one has 100 or 1 USB-A ports.

Probably because many people don't like laptop trackpads and bring a mouse which would take 1 port, and they may need a 2nd one for things like flashdrive. Of course one can bring an hub but some don't like doing that.
