Minisforum has released a new mini-PC that is selling globally as the M1-1295. Available with an Intel Core i9-12950HX processor and numerous ports, the Minisforum M1-1295 mirrors AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-based alternatives when it comes to CPU performance.

Why are they still releasing computers on 5 year old chips.  I completely understand continuing to make models that are already in the lineup, but adding more just serves to confuse the customer, add to R&D costs, dilute volume savings, and offers little to no benefit.

I suppose Intel should be at least a little bit proud that it still competes with AMD's second best.
