At the Snapdragon Summit, Google's senior vice president gave an outlook on future desktop computers and laptops that will ship with Android instead of Windows 11. Google and Qualcomm are said to be already developing a common technical basis for these devices.

I would consider this.   

The only issue is the apps on Android are of a questionable quality compared to Windows/OSX.  It's an ecosystem I barely tolerate just because it's mobile.   However, I find Android much more tolerable itself than Windows or OSX. Android doesn't get in the way of me using apps, while I feel like OSX/Windows are quite hostile environments for users.

This is why they added linux vm to android, to likely act as a bridge until more desktop native android apps are made.
