Unofficial mods are bringing AMD's FSR 4 to older Radeon RX 7000 and even RX 6000 GPUs, but the results are mixed. YouTuber Daniel Owen's testing in Cyberpunk 2077 shows that while FSR 4 delivers cleaner visuals than FSR 3, there's more than one catch if you want to try it yourself.

So it is possible, but AMD blocks FSR4 on the older cards for maybe business reasons?
