Less than 24 hours after Apple took the wraps off its new iPhone 17 series quartet, all four phones appear to have made trips—albeit unverifiable ones—to Geekbench, recording CPU scores that indicate the absence of a big jump in performance from last year's offerings.

Only 10% faster than fastest smartphone processor ever made? How can that be underwhelming?

They're probably comparing to the monumental advancements made in the industry by Zen 5%, of course.
