Title: One of the best Android tablets for audiophiles - Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2025) PaperMatte review
Post by: Redaktion on September 08, 2025, 11:23:56
The MatePad 11.5 (2025) in the PaperMatte edition is an exciting tablet for everyday university life and creative users, thanks to its matte screen and stylus support, as well as a large battery. However, the paper-like display has several advantages, as noted in our review.

I don't know if having decent speakers for a tablet should be called something for audiophiles. Kinda funny. Just say: "above average speakers"?

PS: All this HiRes HiFi 96kHz+24bit audiophile is crap, made up just to sell more. And even "HiRes" branded devices can have a much worse sound quality than what 44.1kHz+16bit would allow.
Would you bet your life that you can hear the difference between 96kHz+24bit and 44.1kHz+16bit? (spoiler plot: you wouldn't, and only at deafening volumes you might spot the difference between 16bit vs 24bit).
Now, having said that, recording at 96kHz+24bit can have some advantages in post-processing, just like recording videos in raw or compressed raw, 12bit, for post processing does.
