In response to the Hollow Knight: Silksong price, indie game studios are rethinking their plans. Some developers worry that they can't recoup costs by charging $20. Other companies downplay the Silksong effect, reasoning that one release can't disrupt the industry.

You can buy a sportscar with a prestigious label for a Million bucks.

You can also build/tune one for a fraction of the cost and have the same/better performance.

And seldomly, some manufacturers simply sell great cars at a FAIR price.
