Smartphones like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra often rely on multiple telephoto cameras to give photographers access to different focal lengths. However, smartphones from other brands will soon also offer telephoto cameras with a variable focal length, just like the Sony Xperia 1 VII.

I wonder how many years it'll take crApple to invent continuous zooms and add $200-300 to their phones. Should be ready about 2035 I'd say alongside their AI.
