A reliable leaker has provided a first look at Lenovo's ThinkPad dock equipped with Thunderbolt 5 ports. Dubbed the ThinkPad Smart Dock 7500, the dock appears to feature numerous ports, including dual Thunderbolt 5 connections that can provide up to 120 Gbps transfer speeds.

Why do they keep removing USB ports and stopping backwards compatiblely we have to buy so many usb hubs

Hopefully its got at least 2.5 GbE. It doesn't even cost much more than 1 GbE, and for a dock that costs hundreds of $ and boasts of 120 Gbps transfer rates, it should at least have that, if not 10 GbE.
