Title: Battery life test: Google Pixel 10 Pro takes on Apple iPhone 16 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25
Post by: Redaktion on August 28, 2025, 22:15:22
With a capacity of 4,870mAh, the Google Pixel 10 Pro has a smaller battery than most competitors, and Google's Tensor chipsets don't have the best reputation when it comes to efficiency. A battery life comparison now shows how the Pixel 10 Pro holds up against the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Apple iPhone 16 Pro.

iPhone 16 pro = 9.5 mAhr per minute of phone test
Samsung S25 = 10.526 mAhr per minute of phone test
Google 10 Pro = 11.5x mAhr per minute of phone test

But all processors made on some variation of TSMC N3. so very interesting. Seems like Samsung bloatware + screen + Snapdragon seem to be more efficient then Tensor G5 + screen + "pure stock" Android.

All that plus generally poorly written kernel, schedulers and of course Qualcomm's SD is just not as efficient as the Apple SoC.

Still, the gap has greatly narrowed and I'm hoping SD Elite Gen 2 brings further improvements.
