Title: Nintendo Switch 2 performance woes could improve in 2026 as more games will reportedly implement DLSS next year

While much more powerful than the OG Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 is still relatively weak by modern standards. This lack of performance has been most evident in third-party games, where the Switch 2 has been shown to run poorly. A new leak now claims that more Switch 2 games will incorporate Nvidia DLSS starting next year, which will go a long way in addressing these issues.

You know what also ran Elder Ring poorly? The Xbox Series S. From Software does not optimize its games. People are expecting too much of a affordable handheld device if comparing it to cutting edge consoles.

Let me fix this for you. Nobody bothers optimizing anymore.

Nah. It could do it. Just most devs aren't spending much time on switch 2 or taking it seriously because it's install base is very small.

If it ends up selling over 100+ million, pretty sure they will spend time working on an update and release it which resolves these issues. There's just not much motivation because switch 1 is where all the players are on.
