Are you serious? Maybe write something about North Korean or Afghan innovations too?
Same here, ARE you serious?! you know that Russia does not have coverage of 4g and not only 4g or any cellular network on any main roads even near Moscow before war in Ukraine and now even GPS does not work and GLONASS it is nonexistent system, by what this driveless truck will go?! I do not tell about road etc. If youwrite something you should at least research something and do not post some kremlin propaganda.
PS Russia is outdated country
sorry guys
is it a joke?
how can you publish it?
pure lie
Unlike NK, Aphganistan or Ukraine, Russia has one of the best brains in AI field (it just won team competition in the International Olympiad in AI ioai-official.org/china-2025/results-2025/ ) . With chips provided by China and cheap electricity, Russia will have no problem developing and implementing AI tech.

Russia has already achieved 90%+ driverless cars for decades. No AI needed.
Of course, this article is just propaganda.
For Russia, which has hardly any decent roads and no real auto industry of its own [check out the actual realities, not what they lie about], to be developing "smart cars" on top of that—it's a joke at best.
But why is China posting this kind of information right now? Most likely, the goal is to bypass sanctions from Western countries, and under the label of "AI for cars," China will mass-supply AI for military drones.
And since they're already "announcing" this, it's probably not about "black shipments" anymore [those that are classified], but rather about mass-shipping components to Russia. Specifically to the one that still dreams of capturing not just Ukraine, but also nearby EU countries.
But why is the author here presenting the article's text at face value?
I understand that pro-ukrainian posters here think that what they are doing on the internet (especially on this forum, which nobody reads) will influence the public opinion so much, that it will help Ukraine in the real world, but still lies never win.
The article doesn't even state that these driverless trucks would be Ruissian and not Chinese. And Russia has a pretty solid TRUCK industry (just like it has pretty solid weapons industry). The passenger car industry is in a worse shape, but the article never talks about passenger cars.
BTW, roads in Russia (at least in its central part) are better than at least in Canada (the country with the same road-unfriendly climate).
It's ok to hate Russia, but lies won't help.

Man, please visit that "wonderful" country first before posting any bullshit like that.

They don't need to visit Russia, they clearly live there. Of course they aren't allowed to leave the Russian troll farm building, so they wouldn't be able to try the actual roads. Only way to try the roads is being shipped to the meat grinder.
But yes, anyone who has actually been to both countries knows Canada has way better roads than Russia, unless you compare in middle of Moscow vs middle of nowhere in Canada
For reference, according to 2019 data, Russia's road quality index was 3.5, Canada's was 5.0
