Title: Student-built satellite set to study a rare and mysterious cousin of Aurora Borealis and Australis

A team of students from the University of Calgary has built a SmallSat and are looking to launch it into the Earth's orbit early 2026. The satellite is expected to orbit the earth at a distance of about 317 miles (510 kilometers) for a total of 10 years.
