E-Ink-Poster und Bilderrahmen kommen ohne Stromkabel aus, und erlauben es, das dargestellte Bild in Sekundenschnelle zu ersetzen, oder auch Widgets darzustellen. Bisher waren E-Ink-Poster sehr teuer, Paper 7 präsentiert sich nun als erschwinglichere, wenn auch kleinere Alternative.

Hi Dennis,

where did you see software are proprietary? It is Open Source on GitHub, where we will also add more stuff in the future.

Fast das gleiche produkt, nur nen anderer Mikrocontroller und Stromversorgung gibt es für die Hälfte auf amazon, wenn man nach epaper Bilderrahmen Sucht...

Hi Lanealucy, du meinst sicherlich den Bilderrahmen von Waveshare. Mit denen haben wir auch angefangen. Sie sind ziemlich gut für Entwickler und haben kein Wifi, Bluetooth, Software, etc. Wichtig ist bei denen vor allem auf das Display zu achten. Für gute Farben sollte es ein ,,Spectra 6" sein.

Du kannst dir auch unseren Bilderrahmen auch selber nachbauen. Das meiste ist schon Open Source und wir bauen gerade an einer guten Doku für den Rest.

That was what was mentioned earlier. It has now been changed to: "motherboard and the software are in-house developments," which makes more sense based on what other news coverage has revealed.
