Title: Sony PS5 vs Xbox Series sales are not even close as Sony sells 80+ million PS5 units

Sony has revealed the latest PS5 sales figures, and the gap between the PS5 and the Xbox Series consoles is tremendous. According to Sony's Q2 2025 financial report, the company has sold more than 80 million PS5 consoles.

I know it's only a wet dream, but imagine these scenarios:
- Xbox has sandboxed, but fully featured x86 desktop mode (similar Windows Sandbox, but persistent)
- Xbox has Steam integration

Microsoft should really try to take advangate against Sony. But they never do.

Hoping Microsoft is going to do anything (successfully!) is a bit like expecting governments to actually care about their own regular average citizens.

It's cute but futile.
