Title: Beelink SEi13 Pro review: Compact Mac Mini design with strong Intel CPU but limited graphics
Post by: Redaktion on August 02, 2025, 01:18:28
The SEi13 Pro is one of the sleekest mini PCs from Beelink, but its Intel Raptor Lake CPU doesn't quite offer the same bang for the buck as some AMD alternatives in the same price range.

The teaser says "Beelink SEi13 Pro mini PC review: Affordable Mac Mini alternative." In fact, no - it is absolutely NOT a Mac mini alternative since it can't run macOS or any Mac software. It's like saying a sedan is an affordable semi-truck alternative. It's just not true. People who use Mac minis are using them for the software, which can't run on this.

The article headline says "Beelink SEi13 Pro review: Compact Mac Mini design with strong Intel CPU but limited graphics" except it's the other way around. This design was pioneered by Intel with their NUC hardware back in 2013. Apple has the Mac mini first (2004) but it was a quite different design until the current Mac mini in 2024 which finally went from the large flat design to the much smaller, more cubical design of the NUC.

Maybe just stop comparing everything to Apple products if you can't get it right?
