Title: YouTube announces automatic AI age verification for US amidst fears of censorship in wake of UK's Online Safety Act

YouTube has announced that the service will introduce a system that will try to figure out the age group of the users without any user input. The system is set to undergo a limited trial in the US in the coming weeks and a wider rollout is planned for the future.

Instead of uploading IDs to YouTube, YouTube should just use login.gov to verify if the user if over 18 without getting any sensitive user data.

Like the EU wants to have full access to monitor every private communication over any online channel and they are working on pushing that. Just to protect kids, nothing else, of course.
