Title: HP Z2 Mini G1a with AMD Strix Halo review – Compact Workstation with Ryzen AI Max+ and Radeon RX 8060S
Post by: Redaktion on July 28, 2025, 13:01:23
Small but powerful – with the HP Z2 Mini G1a, HP launches a compact workstation that delivers surprising performance thanks to AMD's new Strix Halo APU and integrated Radeon RX 8060S graphics. Whether for creative workflows, technical software, or multitasking: we put the mini system to the test to see how much power really fits into its compact chassis.

That price is insane 🤔

Mac mini M4 Pro (14/20) with 64 GB and 2 TB storage:

Sure if you need Windows then fine, but otherwise why bother with this one when the M4P Mac mini simply has significantly better value and performance?

GMKtec EVO-X2 costs $1000 less.

But I guess HP isn't interested in selling to regular consumers.  It targets with governments and large companies for which the pricing is completely different.

the HP Z2 Mini G1a does not offer any more upgrade options.
-- yet it comes with two 2280 m2 slots per your description..so..of no use?

Anyway, you got the last few paragraphs still in german so hopefully you could fix that.

Way too expensive for personal use...

Bios is definitely more refined, cooling seems higher quality, and it has ECC memory.
They're definitely for different targets.
