The developers for the title are considering moving over to Epic's Unreal Engine 5 versus using Ubisoft's proprietary in-house offerings.

Unreal Engine 5 lets them reduce development cost because it is going to be easier to develop, but very bad for consumers.

Unreal Engine 5 performs has very poor performance that forces you to use fake frames (frame gen), upscaler (DLSS or FSR) and TAA (blurry mess). Literally the vast majority of UE5 games have atrocious performance.

I basically can't play any new game anymore because of UE5. Back then with UE4 everything still worked decently, even with old GPUs.
