The artist claims that one of the game's envisioned locations, a massive asteroid mining station dubbed "The Akhenaten," was included in the designs for cities and various ships. Additionally, more sequentially focused missions were planned for the return to Shear, the planet featured in the original title. The new locations that the team intended to introduce to the planet are shown in the city images.
