New Nokia-branded smartphones might be on the way, should the company's new way of finding an original design manufacturer (ODM) pan out. The Finnish telecomms giant is looking for a "large-scale" supplier of mobile devices on a dedicated corner of a popular social media site.

Like most companies that use Kickstarter, or other schemes: Dead-on-arrival due to lack of solid business plan that traditional financers would greenlight.
