Xiaomi is claiming 466 miles of official range specs for its Model Y competitor, and the YU7 Max SUV has been subjected to an independent range test. The Chinese CLTC standard, however, is way more generous than the EPA estimate in the US, explaining those outrageous range claims for Chinese electric vehicles.

There is an unfortunate saying in China that people need to be aware of:
"If you can cheat, then cheat."

Here's a bunch of Chinese families in China protesting a school for NOT allowing their children to cheat:
"Chinese students and their parents fight for the right to cheat - Yahoo Tech"

This is a way of life that you need to be aware of.
