They cut the price because the 5070 is close to useless with the dedicated 8GB DRAM. 8Gb is not enough for 5070 to play new games in 2560x1600 resolution. So don't fall for the cheap price. There is a reason why the 5070ti laptops with 12GB dedicated DRAM is almost double the price.
