To counter its recent failures, Tesla has decided to enter the Indian market. And while this represents a great opportunity, thanks to its 1.4 billion inhabitants, many concerns may arise.

While Indians in general don't care about Elon Musk's political views and given that they have voted for an authoritarian illeberal bigoted prime minister in Modi, that's not going to be the boondoggle around Tesla as in Europe and US, the cost is definitely cool any ardor. It's going to sell for $70K. Good luck selling them once the 1% have bought a fleet for show.
