The new Rimac Nevera R electric hypercar has now officially broken no less than 24 speed and acceleration records, becoming the world's fastest 0-60 MPH accelerating car with 1.66 seconds time. Powered by four motors with combined 2,107 HP output, it could give the Tesla Roadster 2 a run for its money.

fElon Musk is a pathological liar and his performance claims for the vaporware Roadster are impossible for a road car. Only top fuel dragsters can achieve those sorts of times and no road car could have those tyres. For a road car it is beyond the capabilites of the tyres alone.

You forget the cold gas thrusters. These are SpaceX technology and if he sais he will get about 1 sec, he will. Although it might take some more time, cause it's not one of his priorities.
