Title: Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro owners complain en masse about device-breaking bugs after latest Android 16 update
Post by: Redaktion on July 07, 2025, 16:08:56
Google was the first Android OEM to offer stable Android 16 builds to its smartphones. A recent update appears to have caused countless bugs for the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, though. While Google is already working on an update to address the issues raised, it remains to be seen when it will arrive at this stage.

I have the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and it updated quite early to Android 16, which left me without fingerprint access for about a week. All working again now

My 9 I think a few of my alarms have not gone off. And my head phones haven't been syncing up very well. Audio going through the speakers when the headphones/phone shows paired with device. Could also be fault with headphones as they are several years old with the power button being sicky with something (a long press of power button is the pairing trigger) so I'm not holding it against my pixel yet. But if next payday when I get a new set and the issue persists I'll know something is up. Otherwise it's been 👍
