For a long time, it looked as though the EU initiative "Stop Killing Games" was doomed to fail. Initially, all metrics pointed to success, but then the curve flattened. Shortly before the end, the final hurdle was cleared, with an interesting development.

What what a poorly written article it doesn't even explain what the initiative is.

It is not over yet, even if it hit 1 million there could be fake signatures or valid ones that simply failed to verify properly.

That is why the project is aiming for 1.4 million signatures, keep signing people and don't stop.
