We've tested the 16-inch variant sof both the Legion Pro 5 and the Legion Pro 7. The Pro 7 is considerably more expensive, so what are the differences? We'll clarify and also take a look at our benchmark results.

Some impressive screens Lenovo are putting in all their laptops, it's great to see that even in the non pro models too.

One difference between these two is roughly 5.8lbs vs 5.3lbs.  Doesn't seem like much but half a pound isn't completely insignificant.  That Pro 5i is bordering on the 4lb range and would be a bit more portable than the bigger brother.  This could make a difference for carrying but also if you wanted to use it in your lap for a flight or something.  With that said the 7i has much better temps, especially in that underside of the laptop that would make it uncomfortable to use in your lap, sure you could go down in modes but then you lose even more performance (even if the 5070ti was normalized across the board, which would likely give the 7i even better temperatures.

So it's half a pound vs much better laptop body temps if your considering these for lap use or any form of portability.
