Roman "der8auer" Hartung modded the Asus RTX 5090 Astral LC with parallel shunt resistors, allowing power draw to exceed 750 watts and boosting performance beyond the RTX 6000 Ada. The liquid-cooled design handled the increased heat well, though such modifications are not suitable for air-cooled cards.
