The Framework Laptop 12 is not only the manufacturer's most affordable and compact laptop to date, but is also even easier to repair than the older Framework Laptop 13. Thanks to a number of clever design decisions, the notebook receives full marks in iFixit's teardown.

Framework is on the expensive side of things, but they're definitely worth it if you appreciate repairability.

Nice to see them bringing the price down, I could live without the touchscreen and hinge which only serve to significantly increase the weight of the device.

Also, only one RAM slot is a bit disappointing.

And hopefully this runs coreboot or libreboot.
