The tariffs imposed the current US President Donald Trump has seemingly started to hitting the US car market hard. According to a report by Automotive News, the imports of cars in May 2025 has shrunk by a whopping 72% over May 2024.

Given most Amurican cars with a few exceptions are mostly trash, sucks to be an Amurican harder and harder everyday.

Trump should build a wall around the entire country and disappear from the global economy entirely. No one would miss them.

Not everyone understands that if he succeeds with his plans - it will be a major win for America and americans. Unfortunately most people now care only about the price of the next iphone than about longterm country wealth as a whole.

Problem is - no one thinks he can succeed. So no one is going along with it. There are no new car parts factories being opened up. Everyone is just playing the wait-it-out game.
