Nitecore has unveiled a new high-end model in its compact flashlight lineup called the EDC series. Featuring two main LEDs surrounded by eight smaller LEDs, the EDC37 can get exceptionally bright, while a status display provides information about the selected power level.

"non-replaceable battery".... Yeah, I think I'll pass on this one.
Something about working over over $100 for a temporary flashlight..

The numtys seem to have forgotten to mention that it's rechargeable with that USB C connection. So not excessively temporary.

I have a keychain sized nitecore that's pretty much this but scaled down, and it's pretty solid. The max lumen thing is kind of bait, it doesn't have the heat dispersion to sustain it. It will literally melt. But it will definitely throw a lot of light briefly.

Even the keychain at a sustainable level is pretty freaking bright though.
