Sony seems to have totally shifted the production of its smartphones to OEMs. An update to its website shows smartphones are no longer among the list of products manufactured at its factories.

Just curious, does this mean Sony's non-flagship models ie 10series have always been outsourced to OEM in the past?

Dammit, I've to break my bank just to get the niche Sony flagship model & now it's uses typical made-in-china spare parts? The heck :/
