A Reddit user has managed to push the RTX 5090 laptop GPU to 225W with a mod, allowing it to outperform a desktop RTX 4080 in 3DMark's TimeSpy benchmark - all while staying under 75°C or 167°F.

There was already an Eluktronics laptop with a 5090 and Prema bios (likely the Hydroc-16 G2) with a higher Time Spy Graphics score of 30K+.
