Google has introduced Beam, a 3D video calling platform based on its Project Starline. The system blends AI-powered translation and lifelike video projection to hopefully make remote conversations feel more natural. Beam is expected to launch later this year in partnership with HP.

Who's going to buy it, knowing that Google will kill it in couple of months..
